The fact that the candidates are not all white men is what makes them diverse. We live in a country where the population is composed of 51% women and 39% minorities. Ideology and party affiliation aside, can we not agree that it’s healthy for our “representative democracy” that the candidates vying to lead us are actually representative of our population?
